Larry A. Hart Memorial Scholarship Overview
The Ohio Wildlife Officers' Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #143, and the Twin Valley Rod & Gun Club have established the Larry A. Hart Memorial Scholarship to honor the legacy of Wildlife Officer and Field Supervisor Larry A. Hart. With a career dedicated to wildlife management and law enforcement, Officer Hart set a standard of integrity and commitment that continues to inspire future professionals in these fields.
Scholarship Overview:

Amount: $1,000 (one-year award)

Payment: Directly to the recipient’s college bursar
Eligibility:

Ohio resident
-
High school graduate or upcoming graduate from an accredited institution

Enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college, pursuing a career in law enforcement or natural resources management
Requirements:

Career Goal: Passion for a career in law enforcement or the protection/management of natural resources

Academic Focus: Serious interest in advancing education in law enforcement and/or natural resources

Institution Choice: Enrollment in an accredited college, university, or technical institution

Character and Involvement: Demonstrated integrity and positive attributes through community service and extracurricular activities. Scholarship may be revoked if these standards are not maintained.

Submit completed application form with accurate and honest information

Provide two references (non-relatives) using the attached Recommendation for Scholarship form
